Reduce wrinkles
As a result of skin ageing we all have to deal with them sooner of later: lines and wrinkles. Some find them quite charming, but for most they are unappreciated. Fortunately, several effective treatments are available to reduce lines and wrinkles. When choosing a treatment for lines and wrinkles, we distinguish between dynamic wrinkles and static wrinkles.
Dynamic wrinkles are a result from muscle movements in the face (facial expressions) such as frowning and smiling. Botulinum toxin (botox) is by far the most popular treatment for dynamic wrinkles. Botox injections relax the muscles, reducing dynamic wrinkles and preventing new dynamic wrinkles. There are also skin boosters such as Viscoderm Hydrobooster which can soften dynamic lines.
Static wrinkles are also visible when the facial muscles are relaxed and vary in depth and visibility. Examples of static wrinkles include the nose-lip fold, upper lip lines and marionette lines. Treatment of deeper static wrinkles is usually done with fillers. This involves filling the wrinkles and folds with a hyaluronic acid filler or Radiesse. This reduces static wrinkles and improves skin quality. For fine lines, a treatment with SkinPen micro-needling or chemical peeling are very suitable. Here, the skin surface is damaged with very small needles (micro-needling) or an acid (chemical peeling) in a controlled manner, creating new skin cells. In addition laser treatment is an effective option for re-surfacing and stimulation of collagen and elastin production.

Adding volume and enhancing contours
As we age, our face changes and we lose volume in our bones (such as cheekbones), muscle mass and subcutaneous fat tissue. As a result, the contours of our face change and our skin slackens. As a result, we may end up with a tired, grumpy or sad look that does not fit well with how we really feel.
Restoration of volume loss and skin sagging can be done effectively with hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in our skin that retains moisture. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers have a lifting capacity, which can improve the volume and contour of the face. There is a whole range of different fillers available to treat specific indications.
Another type of filler is Radiesse , which consists of a soft gel containing calcium hydroxylapatite. The gel provides an immediate lifting effect, reducing wrinkles and improving contours. The calcium hydroxylapatite stimulates the natural production of collagen in the skin. Sagging skin firms up and regains its tightness and elasticity.

Improve skin quality
Maintaining healthy, fresh and young skin during busy times is sometimes difficult. Cosy parties, a busy career and lots of travelling are of course fun and important activities in your life, but they can also cause tired and dry skin. Taking good care of your skin is therefore wise. To keep your skin in the best condition, consider a skin improvement treatment.
Skinboosters its injectable treatments that improve the hydration, structure and elasticity of your skin and soften fine lines and wrinkles. Any body part where skin has sagged or aged is suitable for a skin booster treatment. Profhilo is the most widely used skin booster and consists of pure hyaluronic acid. Other skin booster such as Viscoderm Hydrobooster and Belotero Revive consist of a slightly cross-linked form of hyaluronic acid. This gives all the benefits of hyaluronic acid (such as hydration) but without a lifting effect. PhilArt is a polynucleotide-based skin booster that naturally stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin.
Would you rather no injectable treatments, then treatment with SkinPen micro-needling or chemical peeling are very suitable. This involves controlled damage to the skin surface with very small needles (micro-needling) or an acid (chemical peeling), creating new skin cells. In addition laser treatment very effectively to improve skin quality and rejuvenate the skin.
