What is it?
As we age, the skin loses its firmness and elasticity, causing fine lines and wrinkles.
PhilArt, PhilArt Next and PhilArt Eye are skin boosters based on polynucleotides (biostimulators), which stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment also helps to hydrate and firm the skin, giving it a plumper and smoother appearance. In addition, antioxidants help repair damaged or ageing skin. PhilArt Next contains pure hyaluronic acid in addition to polynucleotides for even stronger hydration and improvement of skin quality.
PhilArt and PhilArt Next can be used on different parts of the body (face, forehead, neck, décolleté, hands) and are also effective in treating stretch marks and scars. PhilArt Eye is specifically intended for the area around the eyes.
How does it work?
Injecting polynucleotides into the skin stimulates the activity of the so-called fibroblasts. Fibroblasts in the skin are responsible for the production of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and are involved in skin rejuvenation through antioxidants:
- Collagen is a structural protein responsible for giving strength and resilience to the skin. Collagen fibres are produced by fibroblasts and form an important part of the skin's extracellular matrix.
- Elastin is a protein responsible for the skin's elasticity and resilience. Elastin works together with collagen to keep the skin firm and elastic.
- Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that retains moisture and helps keep skin hydrated.
- Antioxidants help repair damaged or ageing skin.
Injecting polynucleotides into the skin stimulates the production of both collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, making the skin firmer and more elastic. This leads to improved skin texture, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and an overall improvement in skin quality.
PhilArt Next contains pure hyaluronic acid in addition to polynucleotides for extra hydration and collagen production for even more firmness and improvement of skin quality.

Depending on the skin condition and the area to be treated, a treatment plan consists of 2 to 4 initial treatments with 2 ml of PhilArt or PhilArt Next with an interval of 2 to 3 weeks ("recharge phase"). Thereafter, the treatment is repeated every 4 to 6 months ("maintenance phase"). A different protocol applies for scars.
PhilArt Eye
PhilArt Eye is a new and unique treatment for the eye area:

- Crow's feet
It works both for improving skin quality around the eyes of young skin and anti-ageing treatment for ageing skin.
A typical treatment plan from 3 initial treatments with 2 ml PhilArt Eye at an interval of 2 to 3 weeks ("recharge phase"). Thereafter, the treatment is repeated every 4 to 6 months ("maintenance phase").
Treatment with PhilArt
Consultation
During the consultation, the doctor will go through your wishes and related treatment techniques with you and advise you on the best way to achieve an effective and natural result. You will receive information on the expected effect, possible side effects and risks, and the costs. The doctor will draw up your individual treatment plan and you will receive an informed consent document with detailed information about the treatment.
Treatment
To make treatment with PhilArt as comfortable as possible, as a first step, the doctor will numb the area to be treated with a numbing cream. A grid of injection sites is then marked on the face. Next, PhilArt, PhilArt Next or PhilArt Eye is injected into the skin with a thin needle. Both sides of the face are treated with a total of 2 ml of PhilArt, PhilArt Next or PhilArt Eye. A treatment usually takes 30 minutes and may involve mild discomfort or pain.
After the treatment
After a treatment with PhilArt or PhilArt Eye, it is especially important not to touch or clean the treated area for the first 12 hours and not to wear make-up. Immediately after treatment, you can resume most daily activities (except sports, sauna and beauty treatments). Our aftercare brochure describes all the aftercare instructions.
Side effects
Treatments with PhilArt are relatively very safe. Side effects are usually mild and temporary in nature. The skin may be somewhat red and swollen after treatment. In some cases, a bruise may appear or some temporary bumps may be visible. These and other possible side effects are discussed during the consultation.
Result
The result of a treatment with PhilArt/PhilArt Eye consists of hydration and improvement of skin quality. The polynucleotides in these products stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, improving its texture. As a result, fine lines and wrinkles diminish and the skin looks more youthful. Moreover, the antioxidants from PhilArt/PhilArt Eye help to repair damaged skin.
The typical treatment plan consists of 3 treatment sessions with 2ml of PhilArt, PhilArt Next or PhilArt Eye at an interval of 2 to 3 weeks, followed by a maintenance treatment every 4 to 6 months. The polynucleotides from PhilArt are completely broken down by the body during this period. Results may vary from person to person and depend on skin quality and treatment plan.
