The Profhilo range has been extended with a new and unique product: Profhilo Structura. With Profhilo Structura, we now can also improve the subcutaneous fat tissue ("lipolifting") so that it becomes firmer and more elastic.
Profhilo Structura consists of an extra-large amount of ultra-pure hyaluronic acid (90mg per 2ml) without any chemical additives. This restores the youthful appearance of the face using the body's own natural processes.

Skin aging
Several processes play a role during the ageing process of the face. Ageing occurs as a result of an interplay of changes in the facial skeleton, ligaments, muscles, fatty tissue and skin.
The shifting of fat tissue due to gravity can result in displacement of the overlying skin. This displacement or shift of fat often leads to larger hollows in the cheeks and flattening of the facial angles. This results in a loss of fat volume in the cheeks.
What is Profhilo Structura?
Profhilo Structura, like Profhilo, is made with the patented NAHYCO technology. Low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid enter into a natural bond. This is an entirely new application of hyaluronic acid. Profhilo Structura contains a very high amount of hyaluronic acid (90 mg in 2 ml).
How does Profhilo Structura work?
Profhilo Structura is an injectable treatment that stimulates subcutaneous adipose tissue. This causes the skin to 'lift'. We call this lipolifting. The indication of Profhilo Structura is to restore a deeper layer of skin: the fatty tissue in the face. This restores the youthful appearance of the face using the body's own natural processes.
Where does Profhilo Structura work?
The treatment is suitable for the face. The focus of the treatment is on the side of the face. In doing so, the treatment aims to address volume loss and skin sagging. Profhilo and Profhilo Structura can be used side by side, as both treatments work on a different skin layer and have a different goal.
Treatment
Treatment with Profhilo Structura is performed with a so-called cannula (blunt needle). Through the insertion opening of the cannula, one side of the face is treated. If desired, an anaesthetic can be applied. The treatment takes only 20 minutes and may cause some discomfort or mild pain.
Side effects
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. When injected, this substance is extremely well tolerated by the skin. The possible side effects of treatment with Profhilo Structura are mild swelling, redness and sometimes a bruise may appear. These and other possible side effects are discussed during the consultation. If you have any doubts about a side effect, always contact your treating physician immediately.
After the treatment
Most clients continue their daily activities immediately after treatment. However, it is important not to touch the treated area for the first 2 hours after treatment. Also avoid visiting the gym for up to 1 day after treatment and the sauna for up to 1 week. These and other living rules are listed in our aftercare brochure.
Result
The result of a treatment with Profhilo Structura is usually visible/feelable the very next day. The result of Profhilo Structura is very natural.
For optimal results, we recommend repeating the Profhilo Structura treatment after 1 month and every 4 to 6 months thereafter. The duration of the effect varies from person to person and depends on age, skin type, lifestyle.
